I am delighted to welcome all visitors to this website. On behalf of the Board of Trustees, Governing Council, Management, Staff and Students of Capital City University, Kano I invite all to be patient and take few minutes to navigate through the various sections and study the content.

The University has a dedicated 100 hectares of land that will house its permanent campus, located about 15 minutes’ drive from Kano City at Warawa Local Government Area of Kano State. For the purpose of take off, the University will operate on two campuses which are Civic Centre and Dawaki Road campuses. These sites are within 30 minutes’ walk, all located in the Kano metropolitan.
The campus is divided into 3 three different blocks, the Administrative block, Departments block and the triple “L” complex: is divided into three levels, the ground floor accommodate physical and life science laboratories, the second floor has the lecture rooms including some of the head of departments offices and the last floor provides accommodation for library complex.
Civic Centre is the second campus of the Capital City University, Kano. It accommodate the office of the Dean, Faculty of Science and computing. Additionally nursing is also allocated at the Civic Centre.
Capital City University, Kano has taken off with the twelve (12) Departments, six (6) from the Faculty of Science & Computing and six (6) from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science. The University has prioritized addressing National skills gap and employability.

No, we have a flexible payment plan that provides options for the payment of tuition
fees; for academic session 100% payment and for semester 50% payment. Other
payment plans are negotiable.
The University have decided on the introduction of programmes in phases. The Art and
Social Science Programme is not in this phase.
The school have two semesters per session
Yes, Inter-University transfer is available long as the candidate’s level is not above that
of the university which is just starting.
